Extreme Makeover: Walking on Broken Glass

SPOTTED ON: Tonight's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, a happy, colorful reconstruction of the Noyola family's two-flat in Chicago. It's a green-built, Mayor-Daley-approved home (think living roof, solar panels, cork flooring).
WHAT CAUGHT OUR EYE: Extreme recyling, anyone? The terrazzo-like countertops are not only sparkly and gorgeous, they're also made from broken glass.
GET IT: From Enviroglas, which also produces broken-glass flooring from used bottles.
