X-Men: A Non-Disassembling Chair

SPOTTED ON: X-Men: The Last Stand, the mutants saga that's up for a Favorite-Movie People's Choice award tonight.

WHAT CAUGHT OUR EYE: An old-school office chair that went flying as blue mutant Mystique (Rebecca Romijn) leaped over a police interrogation table. It's reminiscent of Emeco's classic Navy chair, a clean-lined aluminum design originally produced for (guess!) the U.S. Navy and available since 1944. These chair are designed to weather Nazis, storms and even most Class-4 mutant powers: They're four times stronger than steel and come with a 150-year warranty. (Though Magneto's steel-bending abilities might be a problem.) Available at specialty retailers everywhere, including Design Public, starting around $350.
