Desperate Housewives: Spicing Up Breakfast

SPOTTED: The winning recipe from the Desperate Housewives CookBook Contest:

Saag Paneer Scrambled Eggs
1 t butter
Dash of curry powder
Handful of spinach
2 or 3 T cottage cheese
2 eggs

In pan, melt butter, then add curry. Stir in spinach and cottage cheese. Break eggs over cheese-spinach mixture and stir until it’s the consistency of scrambled eggs. Salt, pepper to taste. (Time: 6 minutes.)

WHAT CAUGHT OUR EYE: Curry and a cup of joe? Sounds like a recipe to take on the world. (But hopefully not murder it—Type-A housewives, beware.)

GET IT: The cookbook is $19 here. Contains everything from Susan's sensible mac-n-cheese to Edie's seduction ambrosia. The winning recipe from desperateblog.com is free and easy.
