Good Eats: Gluten Minimus


SPOTTED: Arrowroot powder, instead of flour or corn starch, as the thickening agent for lamb stew on the Food Network's Good Eats.

WHAT CAUGHT OUR EYE: Not just function, but form. Our intrepid host, Alton Brown, used a stylish, vintage martini shaker to mix arrowroot with tomato juice.
